Personalization
Every Sail agent runs with scoped permissions. The strategy can only execute within the networks, assets, protocols, and actions you’ve approved.
You can start in two ways:
Default permissions: a safe, curated setup for your tier.
Personalized permissions: customize what your agent is allowed to do.
What you can personalize
When you personalize your agent, you can choose:
Networks (where the agent can operate)
Stablecoins (which assets it can use)
Yield sources (vaults and protocols it can allocate into)
Actions (swap, bridge, claim rewards)
In the permissions step, you can also filter selections by curator, protocol, and action type.

Manage and switch between personalizations
Once you’ve created more than one personalization, you can switch strategies in a couple taps.
To manage them:
Open the Profile menu in the app.
Go to Personalization Tab and click on "Personalize Agent".
From here you can:
Create a new personalization
Select one to make it active (the agent follows the active one)
Edit an existing personalization
Reset to Default at any time
What happens when you switch?
If your new personalization adds new permissions (new protocols, actions, networks, or assets), Sail will ask you to sign additional approvals.
If it removes permissions, the agent will stop using anything outside the active personalization.
Update anytime
You can personalize during onboarding, or update these permissions later in the app. When you change your preferences, Sail will request any new permissions needed for the updated scope.
Why this matters
Personalization is how you express your constraints:
limit execution to specific chains
exclude specific protocols
allow only certain actions (for example, “no bridging”)
keep your agent aligned with your comfort level
